Each and every day, our staff has the privilege to make a difference in our patients’ lives. Our busy schedules find us in a world where less than expected service, and not taking the time to have the next person’s back have become increasingly evident.
I need your help in identifying my employees who go that “extra mile” in the workplace, either for a patient, or for a fellow employee. I have instituted a weekly award which carries a very substantial year-end prize for the winner of our contest.
Here’s where you come in. To nominate an employee, you must see or hear the act that prompts your nomination.
- No employee can ask you to nominate him or her, or they will be disqualified for the entire year.
- I will gather weekly nominations between Monday and Friday of each week.
- To nominate someone, please e-mail email@example.com with your name, the employee that you wish to nominate, the action which prompted your nomination, and a phone number where I can call you to validate.
- The weekly winner shall hold the trophy for one week. When the trophy has been returned to me on Friday, their name goes into the “hat” for the year-end prize drawing.
